Joseph Mulongo (FPM Program Director and Director of Connectional Ministries for the North Katanga and Tanganyika Conferences, The United Methodist Church) oversees FPM supported initiatives in DRC and has coordinated and led FPM's leadership development bicycle/boat tours since 2010. Prior to becoming the Conference DCM, Joseph served as the District Superintendent of Mulongo.

Dr. Bishop Mande Muyombo's Executive Assistant for Strategic Partnership and Engagement for the North Katanga-Tanganyika-Tanzania Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church) acts as a communications bridge between friends and partners on both sides of the Atlantic. A pastor of the North Katanga Conference who holds graduate degrees in development and divinity, she is currently writing her ThD thesis on Decolonizing Mission Partnerships via the University of South Africa.

In Loving Memory of Rev. Dr. Bob Walters![]() "Biking Bob," a Marine Corps helicopter pilot turned United Methodist pastor, regularly journeyed to DR Congo for speaking and deep listening tours from 1991-2017. Bob served as the Director of Connectional Ministries for the North Katanga Episcopal Area and was FPM's resident "Mad Man on a Bicycle." When Bob was not in the Congo he could be found in Indiana with his beloved wife Teri. Bob was the author of FPM's first publication, The Last Missionary.
